How can I host a session?

  • To host a session, start by:

    • Recruiting committed volunteers and/or coaches

    • Choose a suitable date and time. These sessions can align with existing training sessions

    • Create a session that's both fun and engaging to showcase your sport and club

    • For more details, join our virtual information session if your club is registered
       

What qualifications do volunteers need?

  • Volunteers need a Working with Children Check

  • It is recommended that they complete the RRHAN Training (Fundamental Course required) and/or First Aid Training

How do I advertise my clubs’ sessions and events?

  • A social media pack is provided to registered clubs to promote through social media, flyers, emails, etc

How are councils marketing themselves?

  • Yes, via social media posts, flyers, and roadside banners, and these are also sent to schools

Can we host girls-only sessions?

  • Yes, specify this in your registration form to host exclusive girls' sessions
     

Is there a minimum session length?

  • Sessions must be a minimum of 30 minutes, with clubs deciding on session times that can range up to 2 hours.
     

If my club only has teams for U8s and above but offers programs like Auskick, can younger participants get the voucher?

  • Yes, participants in your club's programs, like Auskick, can qualify for the vouchers


Can we limit the number of participants?

  • Yes, clubs can decide on participant limits based on session type and resources


Can we restrict the age groups for session registration and participation?

  • Yes, clubs can specify age ranges for registration (e.g., 5-8, 10-16) as noted in the club registration form
